Geoff Hash
Attorney
Geoff has practiced employment law since 2003, working in areas including litigation, negotiation, dispute resolution, advice, investigation, and training with clients from many different backgrounds. He is one of only several attorneys in the country that has actually tried a wage and hour class action. He has also presented numerous other employment-related matters in both the bench and jury trial contexts, in tribal, state, and federal courts.
Geoff has trained more than 10,000 employees in the public, private, and tribal sectors on issues of harassment prevention, equal employment opportunity, legal updates, managing within the law, PL 280, ethics, and conflict navigation.
With more than two decades of experience in working with clients from many different workplaces and industries, Geoff is uniquely able to get to the heart of the issues that are most important to his clients, so that they can move through whatever the present challenge may be as efficiently as possible.
He lives in Roseville, California, and enjoys cooking for friends, sailing, restoring old sailboats, and spending time with family.
AmyAnn Taylor
Attorney
AmyAnn Taylor is an attorney specializing in Federal Indian Law. Her involvement in Indian country grew from her interests at an early age in politics and government affairs and later her experiences gained during various internships in Washington, D.C., including with Congress and the Department of Justice. AmyAnn specializes in representing and consulting with tribal governments and entities on a wide variety of matters including employment law, code and policy development, and general counsel services. She currently resides in Elk Grove, California, and in her free time enjoys her family, serving in her local church congregation, reading, sports of all kinds, and improving her photography skills.
Grace Lee
Development Coordinator
As the Development Coordinator at Geoff Hash Law, Grace supports the firm’s operations and growth through business development initiatives, administrative coordination, and legal case support. Grace enjoys contributing to the firm’s internal processes while advancing its mission and visibility.
Grace holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology as well as a Master of Family Therapy degree. Grace has experience in outpatient mental health services, Positive Psychology research, family supervision, and quality assurance reading from her previous academic and professional pursuits. Grace loves working with and helping people, especially in terms of conflict navigation and problem-solving, which is why she resonates so strongly with the goals of Geoff Hash Law. Outside of work, Grace loves to read, travel, try new food, and spend time with family and friends.
Alicia Peiffer
Legal Assistant
Alicia has more than 20 years of professional experience in administration, marketing, and content creation. Her diverse background includes supporting organizations in a range of administrative, operational, and management roles. At the firm, Alicia serves as a legal assistant and supports operations through administrative and organizational assistance.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the beach, football, traveling, crafting with her daughter, and bonding with her teens over music and television.
Mia Canney
Legal Intern
Mia is a senior at Rio Americano High School, and a part of the Civitas Program there, which is a path for those interested in civic engagement and politics. She has participated in Mock Trial for three years, serving as an attorney for two. Mia is also a member of her school’s equity committee, which focuses on making the school environment more inclusive and accessible to the variety of communities present. She intends to study politics in college and go on to law school after that. In her free time she likes to spend time with friends, listen to music, and spend time in nature.
